My latest painting continues in the North Carolina Mountain theme. There is this wonderful old barn on a farm near the Valle Crusis Community Park. The farm has grown pumpkins the last couple of years and has an old dilapidated truck that sits next to the barn and serves as a display rack for the pumpkins. While I want to paint the barn in its entirety someday, this image from the road of only the corner of the barn, the truck and, oh yeah the outhouse, is what caught my interest. It is a quarter sheet painting, approximately 9X13". I will hang on to this one to submit to the Watercolor Society of North Carolina 2018 annual show. Wish me luck!
Hope you enjoy it.
