I experimented with some different woods on the "Sunrise on Snakeden Ridge" painting I blogged about a while back, but did not like the result. I then tried the new combo of cherry with maple inlays that I used to make picture frames for the upcoming Durham Craft Market Holiday Market on December 10 from 10AM till 4PM in the Durham Convention Center and really like how it looks. Think I will have to add that to my regular framing combos! "Sunrise" is now available for $450. The framed painting is 23"X30".

My application to the Holiday Market was accepted and I have been busy in the shop building up inventory. The Market will take place 11AM until 4PM December 10 at the Durham Convention Center in the Downtown Marriot Hotel. I will have Photograph frames in 4X6, 5X7 and 8X10 sizes in several different wood combinations including a new one, Cherry and Maple. I am currently making more cutting boards and will have 15 plus in various wood combinations, patterns and designs ranging in price from $35 to $50 based on size. And I will have giclee prints of several of my watercolors available. The images are approximately 9X13 and will sell for $50 unframed, or $150 framed. I hope to see you there!
