My latest painting "Ready To Go" is a full sheet watercolor, 20.5"X26" image, framed in double bevel Jatoba with 1/4" maple inlay and 1/8" corner splines. Like the last two I recently posted, this awaited some mat board from Jerry's Arterama. I wanted to mat it before I chose the wood for the frame then needed to make some long molding to accommodate its final 30.5"X36" framed size. I think the jatoba primary wood works well with the greens and browns in the painting. It is available on my framed watercolor page.
"Read To Go"
It seems to have taken me forever to get around to Jerry's Arterama in Raleigh to get some mat board I needed to frame my latest pictures, one has been done since last February! Both are half sheet paintings, double matted and framed in double bevel maple frames with 1/4" jatoba inlays and 1/8" corner splines. Both are now available on my Framed Watercolor page.
